Azelaic acid has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, which make it effective in the treatment of skin conditions like breakouts and irritation. The acid can prevent future breakouts and clean breakout-causing bacteria from your pores. Azelaic acid is also a tyrosinase inhibitor, meaning it can prevent hyperpigmentation, because it reduces excess melanin production.

How to use

AM and/or PM. Patch test before use.

After washing/toning/ water-based serum, apply the Mattifying Gel Moisturiser and gently massage into the skin. Follow with oil-based serum and sunscreen.

Azelaic acid is not suitable for people with hyper-sensitive skin, as it can cause redness, peeling and tingling.

Combinations (Besties & No-No's)

Cannot be combined with Retinol, Vitamin C, AHAs, BHAs etc.

great product for acne prone skin

This is a great product to use when you have acne prone skin. There is no clogging factors. I use it as my primary (only) moisturiser at night and just incorporate a sunblock during the day. Highly recommended

Great for my oily acneprone skin

This moisturiser reduced the oily feeling and look on my face, my skin is now matte but still looks hydrated. It helped with the reoccurring breakouts on my cheeks and reduced the redness. If you have oily skin, you NEED this!
