Azelaic acid has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, which make it effective in the treatment of skin conditions like breakouts and irritation. The acid can prevent future breakouts and clean breakout-causing bacteria from your pores. Azelaic acid is also a tyrosinase inhibitor, meaning it can prevent hyperpigmentation, because it reduces excess melanin production.

How to use

AM and/or PM. Patch test before use.

After washing/toning/ water-based serum, apply the Mattifying Gel Moisturiser and gently massage into the skin. Follow with oil-based serum and sunscreen.

Azelaic acid is not suitable for people with hyper-sensitive skin, as it can cause redness, peeling and tingling.

Combinations (Besties & No-No's)

Cannot be combined with Retinol, Vitamin C, AHAs, BHAs etc.
