African Black Soap has been used for centuries to treat breakouts, rough patches, flare-ups, dry skin, rashes or just to purify the skin naturally. It is also famous for its effectiveness in balancing oily skin. It is 100% natural and handmade according to African tradition. This soap bar foams into a rich, brown lather, removing impurities without stripping the skin of its natural oils.

Full Ingredients

INGREDIENTS: unrefined shea butter, tea tree oil, cocoa butter, cocoa pod ash, plantain skin, palm bunch ash, aloe vera, virgin coconut oil, purified water

How to use

Note: If it's your first time using African Black Soap, you might want to start using it only every second day so it doesn't dry your skin too much (see recommendations & cautions below). After you have built up your tolerance after 3 weeks, you can increase frequency to 1-2 x daily

Combinations (Besties & No-No's)

This product can easily be combined with any other products, including actives like Retinol, AHAs, BHAs etc. However, we do recommend that first time users to not combine it with AHAs/BHAs in their first weeks of using, as it might cause irritation.

Cautions/Warnings

Can be very drying for first time users. Slowly introduce your routine by using 2-3x a week- increase usage as tolerance builds. Recommended to use in conjunction with cleansing balm to ensure.

Deep cleansing

So far i love using this soap at night before my hydrating skin routine. treating my clogged pores and acne and i love that it feels like it gets every bit of oil and dirt and product off your face. it lathers very well and you dont have to use much at a time at all! i can see this bar lasting a long time.

Works!

Best soap every. Will never go back to anything else. Photo from 2020 before using the soap, and using other products trying to cover up, and the after is this year. Now i have more freedom with what makeup products I use because I dont have to worry about breaking out.

A Clean Sweep

I love this soap, my face feels squicky clean after a wash. Husbae tried it, hos skin is quite oily on his face, he loves and wants to continue using it. I just need a way to keep it from getting soggy, found myself wishing there was a liquid version of it.

I love this one at first it was making my skin a bit dry bt after few use everything was good. Coz i only used it for a week or so i'll give it time bt i can confirm that my skin is not the same anymore❤️

Oily skin routine product testing

I love a good foaming face wash and this is lovely, when I rinse it off it almost feels like my skin has no excess oils and has had botox. It feels smooth, I love this with the duo of the face wash for oily skin types.
