Azelaic acid is a naturally-occurring acid found in grains such as barley, wheat, and rye. | 50ml

Azelaic acid has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, which make it effective in the treatment of skin conditions like breakouts and irritation. The acid can prevent future breakouts and clean breakout-causing bacteria from your pores. Azelaic acid is also a tyrosinase inhibitor, meaning it can prevent hyperpigmentation, because it reduces excess melanin production.

How to use

AM and/or PM. Patch test before use.

After washing/toning/ water-based serum, apply the Mattifying Gel Moisturiser and gently massage into the skin. Follow with oil-based serum and sunscreen.

Azelaic acid is not suitable for people with hyper-sensitive skin, as it can cause redness, peeling and tingling.

Combinations (Besties & No-No's)

Cannot be combined with Retinol, Vitamin C, AHAs, BHAs etc.

Great moisturiser

I really enjoy using this moisturiser. It is my go to daily moisturiser. I have always struggled with breakouts and I am now finally seeing less pimples forming. This product is lightweight and feels great on my face. You can see that my old one is well used. Always happy to restock.

Best Day Cream

If you have acne prone skin, I cannot recommend a better day cream. It's not so mattifying that you're left ashy, but definitely your skin won't be oily. It even controls oil during the day, so you're not oily by the afternoon. It works amazing under their sunscreen!

Humidity where?

Living in KZN i hated to use any Moisturiser as it left my skin feeling sticky and sweating horribly, since using this moisturiser it has changed the way i look at moisturisers, no tacky feeling and hydrating my skin just enough for it to not break out in a sweat
