African Black Soap has been used for centuries to treat acne, psoriasis, dry skin, rashes or just to purify the skin naturally. It is also famous for its effectiveness in balancing oily skin. It is 100% natural and handmade according to African tradition. This soap bar foams into a rich, brown lather, removing impurities without stripping the skin of its natural oils.

Full Ingredients

INGREDIENTS: unrefined shea butter, tea tree oil, cocoa butter, cocoa pod ash, plantain skin, palm bunch ash, aloe vera, virgin coconut oil, purified water

How to use

Note: If it's your first time using African Black Soap, you might want to start using it only every second day so it doesn't dry your skin too much (see recommendations & cautions below). After you have built up your tolerance after 3 weeks, you can increase frequency to 1-2 x daily

Combinations (Besties & No-No's)

This product can easily be combined with any other products, including actives like Retinol, AHAs, BHAs etc. However, we do recommend that first time users to not combine it with AHAs/BHAs in their first weeks of using, as it might cause irritation.

Cautions/Warnings

Can be very drying for first time users. Slowly introduce your routine by using 2-3x a week- increase usage as tolerance builds. Recommended to use in conjunction with cleansing balm to ensure.

This is by far my favorite product, was also my very product bought. I can always rely on this soap to always bring my skincare to the next level.

Softer than your baby's bottom

I've been using the soap for a little over 3 weeks now and I'm finally exiting my purging phase!!!! :D
The purge I went through was so intense and mildly painful; my skin was dry most of the time and it literally looked like somebody had punched my eye but I'm excited about finally being on the other side. My skin is SSSOOO soft and naturally brighter plus I have almost no break outs at all anymore (yay).

The only thing I could fault the soap for is for not lasting very long, other than that. Super Happy :)
